Last salute to musician Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) in gun salute. He died during the performance at Rabindra Sadan for Vivekananda college program. The family arrived from Mumbai on Wednesday morning to get done the cremation of KK at Kolkata.
After the postmortem at SSKM, the body was taken to Rabindrasadan and a gun salute was given to show the respect to this legendary singer. Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister of West bengal Mamta Banerjee announced a salute from the Bankura state government meeting. “I talked to K K’s wife” she said. If the weather is good, I will come to Dumdum Airport (Kolkata Airport) to pay my respects. ‘ Tribute will be paid to the song salute. This was stated by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a meeting in Bankura on Wednesday. On the death of the musician, the Chief Minister further said, “At least if the last sighting is seen, I will do a gun salute with the Kolkata Police.”
